Holy moly it's been a long time since I've updated this blog! Obviously our lives have been pretty busy, otherwise I would have had time to devote to posting the fun pictures of our lives. I sincerely apologize and would like to say that I'm going to be more diligent about posting, but I honestly cannot promise that. So, perhaps I could sum up a little of our goings on?
Sydney turned 6 and started the first grade. Peyton turned 3 and is a goof ball. I am now a private contractor, still contracted with Alpine School District but am hopeful to gain another client, so far, nothing signed. Jason is still working and taking classes towards obtaining his PhD. We had my folks visit in April, Jason's mom visit in November and we'll be spending Christmas at home this year with no travel and no-one traveling to us. We visited the Reeps in Minnesota for the 4th of July. In the spring there was a ton of flooding and crazy weather. Hmmm, there was Halloween Peyton was Wolverine but also Spiderman and Sydney was a vampiress and I was Batman...or Batgirl I guess.

That's the quick and short of it, yes there are pictures of it all, but no I'm going to post them at the moment. You'll have to settle for our holiday card!
Our town had a Christmas in Carterville event where they closed down the entire main road through town and turned it into a Christmas village. All the shops had themes in their windows from tiny Christmas towns to live carolers. Hot cocoa and cookies where being served and Santa and one of his reinder were there. They light the community tree and the whole town showed up!
So far the weather has been nice and it's so green here! I love it! :)
Until next time!
