First Day of School continued

So, I said I would post pictures of Sydney's first day of school as I picked her up, and I never did. So, here they are! Might be a bit anti-climactic at this point, but pictures are always fun!

Our First Visitor!

Back in July we had our first visitor! Gramma Michelle stayed with us for a week and it was so great to be able to share a bit of our new home with her. The weather was hot and nice and even though Jason and I both had to work, and our house was still full of boxes, we got to see a few fun things while she was here.

We drove to a couple wineries, "hiked" to the cypress trees, visited the castle, walked a bit of the river front in Paducah Kentucky, and she and I went to a "Ladies Night Out" event which was a bunch of vendor booths with women's interestes in mind to help raise money for a local off the leash dog park. We enjoyed the wine tastings and shopping! She also got to meet some of our new friends when we hosted a birthday party for Sydney.
